Last night was Grant's final meeting at his "Rodent Club". This club was put on by our local park district. The kids brought their rodents (hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs...) and played with them, made treats for them and learned about rodent care. Grant was sorry to see the club come to an end. He is now asking for a rat. I'm game for it, but Daddy gave the idea a big "thumbs-down." Hopefully the park district will do it again sometime.
Speaking of rodents....Trent and Hammy watched the Penguins win game 6 of the Stanley cup playoffs the other night. I assume they will be watching tonight's final game with great excitement.
Brooke had a play-date this morning with her little friend Sophia. They are soooooo good and sweet together. They love to play "girly" things: carry around purses and stuffed puppies, try on shoes and share lipgloss. I think we are going to keep a playdate exchange going with her every week. The girls love it and it gives us moms a little break.
