I thought I would show everyone a little bit of what life has been like over the past month. Christmas day was spent just like I prefer it - at home! We made our traditional birthday cake for Jesus that evening.
Grant received a snowboard for Christmas. He thought it was sooooo cool. I couldn't believe how he was able to get on it and go immediately. We have a small (very small & short) slope on the corner of our property. It was a great "beginners hill" for him.
One of the highlights of Christmas break was meeting Doug, Debbi and their twin boys at the airport. They had a lengthy layover so we were able to spend a little time with them. Alex got to see the boys for the very first time. I think he was really taken with them since he is a twin. He kept commenting: "they are soooo different!" It breaks my heart not to see them as much as I want. They are so beautiful, yummy and precious. And they are growing WAY too fast!

I am sure I will keep posting as I learn more about what I am doing with this blog. Have a great weekend.
